About Us

Who we are. Why we’re here.

We are Life Church International Embakasi — a branch of Life Church International, with an apostolic call to our community and the nations of the world. Get to know our story, our pastors, our apostolic leaders and our home.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”— Matthew 28:19
Who we are

A branch of Life Church International, planted in Embakasi.

Life Church International Embakasi is a ministry that began in the home of Pastor Vincent Kyalo with a total of 6 people. It began first as a fellowship in early 2016 and grew from their home to being established on leased land on 12th June 2016.

Life Church International Embakasi was founded by Pastor Vincent Kyalo and his wife Pastor Faith. They are the Lead Ministers, assisted by associate ministers — mature men and women qualified in the order of 1 Timothy 3:1-13.

LCI Embakasi is a branch of Life Church International Kenya, which was founded by Apostle David Juma in the year 2000. We have witnessed numerical growth by the grace of God over the years. We believe that we are an apostolic and a prophetic ministry which is effective through impartation of both grace and spiritual gifts. We believe in raising sons and sending them to their ministerial functions, helping the church to have her branches as part of reaching out with the gospel.

Meet our Pastors

Grounded in the Word, Faith and Prayer.

Pastor Vincent Kyalo is an ordained pastor and the senior minister of Life Church International Embakasi. He is happily married to Pastor Faith Kyalo, who serves as co-pastor at Life Church International Embakasi. By the grace of God, they have two children. He acquired a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Machakos University, and is currently taking his Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology at PAC University.

God called him into ministry in his early years in high school, where he began to walk in great demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit. He is a man of God grounded in the Word and Prayer, with a passion for raising radical Christians in matters of Word, Faith and Prayer.

His ministry is characterised by deep teaching of God's Word, long hours of prayer and fasting, miracles, signs and wonders. He also has a great passion for reaching out to the youth and raising them radically in Word, Faith and Prayer.

Apostle David Juma came to know the Lord at the age of nine and has been actively preaching the gospel since 1983. He has an infectious passion for the gospel, and those who are close to him admire his leadership. He is the apostolic leader and spiritual father to many sons and daughters in the ministry. Dr. David is an Ordained Apostle and the Senior Minister of Life Church International, an apostolic church and growing congregation in Nairobi, Kenya, with branches across the country and internationally. He also leads Gospel Light Ministries, a gospel agency involved in evangelism, leadership training, children feeding and educational programs in the slums, and outreaches to schools, colleges and universities.

He is the Team Leader of the Alliance of Apostolic Churches and Ministries (AACM), an umbrella body and relational network of senior ministers and apostolic churches in Kenya. Gospel Light College is another strategic apostolic school for training Christ-like ministers for a Christ-like Church. Apostle David Juma is also the founder of Elevate Television, a media ministry of Life Church International advancing the kingdom lifestyle.

He is an Executive Council Member of the Kenya Council of Church Alliances and Ministries (KCCAM), an oversight body for evangelical, Pentecostal, Charismatic and apostolic formations in Kenya, and the National Convener for the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL) in Kenya. Through these ministries Apostle David travels internationally into Africa, Europe, America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and South America, with a drive to see apostolic ministries and churches activated into winning the world for Jesus.

He provides apostolic covering to several leaders and churches locally and internationally. Dr. David Juma has a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and Ministry, and an Honorary Doctorate from Canon Bible College and Seminary, USA. He has been married for 28 years to Pastor Asunta Juma, and they have two daughters.
